Whether you’ve attended our beginner workshop and are eager to deepen your understanding of candle making, or you’ve been crafting candles at home but encountered challenges, our Candle Creations Masterclass is perfect for you. This class is designed to take your candle-making skills and knowledge to the next level.
 
Guided one-to-one by our experienced candle artist, who also serves as an instructor for several leading industry associations, you’ll explore a range of advanced techniques and styles across multiple candle forms.
 
In this masterclass, we’ll cover the essential theories of candle making, ensuring the foundation for your success. You’ll gain insights into different types of wax, wicks, and coloring techniques.
 
Container Candle – Wax choice, Scent blending, wick sizing, and flawless pouring
Pillar Candle – Smooth surface finishing, and colour application
Frost Candle – Learn how to create delicate, crystalline textures
Cactus Candle – Hand-pouring wax succulents with detail and precision, sand wax exploration
Wax Decoration – Techniques for new styles of solid parfum
If you have previously attended our beginner workshop, you can choose to replace the container candle and wax decoration with two different candle styles. Options include Marble Candle, Lace Candle, Dessert Candle, or Floral Candle.
 
This workshop is held over two half-day sessions during weekdays. Please enquire via the contact form for availability.

Our studio is located in the beautiful Bruntsfield area of Edinburgh — just a 2-minute walk from Fountain Park and Bruntsfield Place.
We’re easily accessible by public transport, with Lothian Buses 10 and 27 stopping right outside the studio.
